Helix BioPharma Corporation is developing innovative medicines mainly in the areas of cancer prevention and treatment.

Helix is focused on the development of two product candidates: The Company’s most advanced initiative is its Topical Interferon Alpha-2b, under clinical testing as a preventative therapeutic against cervical cancer development as well as a treatment for ano-genital warts, both of which are conditions caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infections.

Helix’s second initiative is its L-DOS47 for the treatment of the most common form of lung cancer, lung adenocarcinoma.   L-DOS47 is based upon Helix’s patented new broad spectrum therapeutic approach for the destruction of cancer cells.   L-DOS47 is currently under preclinical development in preparation for clinical testing.
